Overton Grange will officially become a Humanities College from September 2008.  The lead subjects, English, History and R.E will be used as vehicle for whole school improvement but all curriculum areas will benefit from increased funding. 

The Humanities ethos is in line with Overton Grange's vision to create independent learners and global citizens.

Students will have increased enrichment opportunities due to the Humanities Specialism and the school will be able to further develop its links with the local community so that more people can benefit from the excellent facilities and resources that the school has to offer.
