Welcome to Overton Grange School
Our Vision
We want Overton Grange School to be a safe, challenging and happy community which prepares learners of today for the demands and opportunities of tomorrow.
We are a mixed, comprehensive co-educational school for students aged 11-19 in the London Borough of Sutton. There are 1290 students on roll including in 240 the sixth form. On 1 June 2011 we converted to academy status and have been a Humanities specialist school since 2008.
Overton Grange has been, since its inception, proud to be at the heart of the local community. The popularity of the school is a reflection of our high standards and quality of teaching and accommodation as well as the excellent reputation established by the achievements and behaviour of our students. The most recent OFSTED inspection (May ’09) said that we are a ‘Good’ school, with some ‘Outstanding’ features, such as the Care, Guidance and Support given in the school and the standards achieved in the Sixth Form.
