Intent

To develop a deep and working student awareness of the social science curriculum. To create and develop a student awareness of how the issues looked at have affected and impacted upon people’s lives and their behaviour, and to identify historical trends. Students will become familiar and proficient using scientific technique and/or identifying relevant occupational practices and procedures. Links between subject areas in and outside the department will be identified and students will be encouraged to take part in visits and school trips.
